the loop
she wondered the loop many a times
always noticing new spots
spaces
places.
she knew the loop as she knew the breathe of her own.
she was comfortable, safe;
even when seeing the fall fairy,
who pointed her in the right direction
though she already knew where to go.
she would simply node and say
"thank you".
on the path she went,
following round the loop.
as life went on,
she began to wonder.
the wonder went deep
and deep
and deep.
she never stopped to entertain
"what goes on beyond the loop"
and when she did.
she would not let it go.
rightfully so,
she had been on the loop eternally.
and never truly wondered about the landfall that surrounded her constantly.
her attention stayed within the loop.
on this day,
she looked in all different directions.
looking BEYOND the loop.
stunning it surely was.
so fresh
new
and unknown.
she came to the fall fairy
and shared her curiosity.
"that way"
he responded, as he always does.
on she went,
around the loop.
her curiosity continued,
yet this interaction created stagnancy in her vision.
she asked herself why she was craving to explore beyond the loop.
the answer was simple.
"destiny"
hmmmm.
she came to the fall fairy again
and this time demanded an answer,
anything about beyond the loop.
or at least validate her curiosity.
"that way" came again.
another loop,
i guess.
her curiosity became frustration.
"i want to get off the loop, i need more."
"and what i plan to do with it", came to mind.
"explore it, and even create a new loop,
this time,
with a more intelligent fairy."
when she came to him the third time,
he said,
"i am sorry love,
all i know is this loop.
i am simply doing what i was created to do.
i cannot share with you what i do not know.
not knowing is a great thing,
i promise.
i never had a wondering curiosity and neither did you,
until now.
that is a sign you are created for something more than this loop.
follow your soul."
his mouth closed and no sooner did he say,
"that way".
she smiled,
a warm, soft smile;
radiating gratitude from her heart,
she walked straight this time,
past the fall fairy,
across the wondering bridge.
he smiled as well,
knowing she would find her way,
"there's millions of us out there"
he thought.
and there she went,
into a whole new world.
owing it to the soul,
to the universal god,
who called her upon higher grounds.
she looked to the sky and muttered
"thank you"
on she went....
the end.
may you be inspired each and every day to tap into the new, to accept the present, while simultaneously choosing to change it.
