the path she chose
she rode the incline of the road that lay ahead of her.
hugging the turns and gripping the edges.
she felt fear, as slowly as she climbed.
she could not bare the lack of sights.
though she had no option but to trust the flow of the road.
even in the darkness, she felt the power of trust in the beyond.
creeping up and welcoming her home.
how could she fathom this?
she could not.
that was what she found herself faced with.
the inevitability of letting go.
with everything on the line.
she could do nothing more and nothing less than trusting the path she chose.
the hardships made her want to turn back.
but the more she rode, the more she learned that what she "wanted" was not something to follow.
the want was the easy way out.
and how about that?
when she chose a path, commitment meant staying on the path until the fulfillment was seen through.
on she drove, with that bit of fear lingering all around her.
she went on anyway.
eventually feeling a smile break on her face.
she was learning.
learning to enjoy the unbearable unknowing of the curve she will be met with.
nestled in the cradling pulse of the universe, she was safe.
not by her own means,
but by the means of her all powerful creator.
the paver of the path.
