the dark dream.
through the forrest she ran.
bare feet and raw feelings.
truest to heart
and nestled at home.
she expected nothing when she was there.
the feeling is all she needed.
the freedom is the yes.
the realest she ever felt.
no need to prove herself
or be anyone.
she could bask
and be.
just. be.
when she left the forrest,
she found drudgery.
not being able to find her peace was tricking her.
fooling her into thinking she was a being of lack.
this energy called her further and further from the forrest.
that forrest was not realistic.
it was a waste.
she needed to focus on "real life"
and that's what she did.
she became emerged in this idea of life that she was conditioned to believe in.
her love and trust for others overweighed the love she had for herself.
her curiousity left her stagnant.
trying hard to see the truth in all of this.
she was a great follower of directions.
she rode the wave for a long long time.
yet it felt like she went no where.
she was in the same place.
this became unbearable.
she breathed deep
looked down at her bare feet
and was flashed into the clear forrest.
breathing fresh air.
her breathe had never felt so deep.
so real.
so alive.
everything that constricted her melted away.
she watched it fade into the air
like fog on the mountains after a day of rain in the crisp air.
she looked at her hands
and remembered her core.
her hands on her heart,
she fell to her knees
and then onto her back.
looking straight to the sky,
the view was endless.
she had awaken from the dream.
why would i do that? she thought.
and back to her the forrest said.
even the darkness needs to experience the freedom of our light.
thank you.
the end
xxx ooo.
have a refreshing week.
