there’s always something more…the rule of parable.
I love the idea of the parable; I just made a youtube video on this idea (check it out). The depth of this life is immeasurable, and God is always inviting us to look a little closer. I feel as though we all live life in parable. It’s beautiful.
Sit with something that’s happened to you. Whatever situation comes up, sit with it-and look a little deeper. Could there be something else for you to see?
I love living in parable, and here’s how I break it down, in story:
The anger that flared within her everytime she came around the corner. For no reason at all.
Even if she smiles, or offered coffee.
The seer never asked why, until she did. It seems we avoid that question, because we are often afraid of the answer.
The feeling came and so the feeling must come true.
When out for coffee: she said “Don’t you just HATE certain people?”
“I do” her friend responded. “But it’s never about certain people.”
The two locked eyes. And that was the date she asked.
A knot in her throat, and water in her eyes.
She reminded her of someone she loved. of someone who no longer seemed to love her.
After that day, the hate turned to love,
no other force can do that besides the good Lord above.
It’s like cracking open a stone to find a shining gem.
You can use the rule of parable to see the new perspective in whatever it is that comes to you.
Much love.
